BRANDING

Project: Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria Annual Report (University project).
Role: Designer.
Brief: To design an annual report for the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria.

The concept for this project draws inspiration from the Yarra River, which flows around the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria (RBGV) and serves as a vibrant hub of biodiversity. This connection embodies RBGV's vision of a healthy planet, emphasising the rich diversity of life sustained by the river.

The design takes a minimalistic approach, featuring a green and blue colour palette that mirrors the natural environment of the Yarra River, evoking tranquillity, harmony, and environmental consciousness.

Central to this concept are the custom-created images, including close-up and macro photography that I crafted to showcase the diverse life along the riverbanks and botanical-style illustrations of the unique plant species found in the RBGV and Yarra River area. This blend of my original photography and illustration work captures the essence of the vibrant ecosystem nurtured by the RBGV.
