Brief: To create a modern, approachable identity that blends Argentinian heritage with contemporary design to expand the business’ target audience.

The rebranding of Dan’s Empanadas aimed to elevate the brand’s identity while staying true to its Argentinian roots. The challenge was to create a modern, approachable look that resonates with a wider Melbourne audience while highlighting the authentic flavours and community-driven spirit behind the product.

The new brandmark, colour palette, and applications blend tradition and contemporary aesthetics—drawing inspiration from the Argentinian flag and pairing it with bold typography to create a visual language that feels both familiar and fresh.

The packaging design captures the brand’s modern and fun personality. The tagline, ‘Made the Argentinian way,’ adds authenticity and pride and reinforces the brand’s cultural roots.
